International Guest and Delegation Visits at the University of Utah

The University of Utah welcomes visitors and delegations from universities, government agencies, research institutions, industry, and other organizations. Our aim is to strengthen and expand strategic international partnerships through collaborative meetings with university leadership, faculty, administrators, and staff. Delegations can range from individual visitors to larger groups and may last anywhere from a few hours to several days, with arrangements customized to suit the specific nature of the visit.

The University of Utah’s Global Engagement Office coordinates short-term, exploratory visits for international guests and delegations.

As a globally engaged institution, the University of Utah is committed to fostering open dialogue with educational leaders and organizations worldwide. Hosting international guests and delegations provides opportunities for valuable exchanges and deeper exploration of innovative ideas, which are vital to building strategic global partnerships. Our office supports academic and administrative units in welcoming international visitors and ensuring their visits are productive and impactful.

If your delegation requires an interpreter, please make arrangements to bring your own and include the interpreter's details on the list of delegates. Formal requests should be submitted at least 10 business days prior to the proposed visit. Requests submitted with less than 10 business days' notice may not be accommodated. We will respond to your request within three (3) business days or less.

For further questions or assistance, please contact the Global Engagement Office at global@utah.edu or 801-587-8888.
